Winter Solstice Virtual Meetup
12/21 6:30-8pm
Â
Queer and Trans embodiment does not stop at our skin. Our body, our vessel, is the portal to a tapestry that extends across space and time. These threads tumble waves, propagate sound, awaken embers, and weave roots.
Â
As we are constantly disassembled and disembodied by our society, as we grapple with crises in soil, relationship, and spirit, as we come to the longest night in the year before the unveiling of light - How can we expand into these power sources for help and guidance? How can the directions support us in shaping the liberated possibilities we are all inherently, divinely capable of?
Â
Join us on the Winter Solstice for altar building, poetry writing, breathwork, and light movement as we invoke our creation myths through the four directions, and honor the myths of the land we are on. Reflection questions and altar suggestions will be sent prior to the meeting.

Can someone else come if they did not register but I did?
Each registration is 1 per person. Registrations are important to allow us to plan accordingly for the group size we are anticipating. Waivers, emergency contact info is collected when you register.Â
Â
I don't identify as the said group this meetup is for, can I still come? Example: The hike is for QTBIPOC, I am not QTBIPOC, can I still attend?
Please respect the intention of the meetup. We have intended to create a space that is welcoming and centering a specific group. We ask that you not attend the group if you do not identify as the said group the meetup is intended for.Â
Â
I'm not sure if I identify as QTBIPOC, can I still attend?Â
QTBIPOC can sometimes be used as an umbrella term to identify underrepresented minority communities, particularly relating to communities of color. We would like to let our BBMP, SWANA, AAPI, Mixed and other communities of the diaspora know they are absolutely welcome in these spaces.Â
Â
Â
The Registration is full! Is there a waitlist?Â
Yes, some events will have a waitlist. As the date approaches, if we receive cancellations 48hrs in advance we will do our best to notify the next in line on the waitlist.Â
Â
Â
Do you table at community events?Â
Yes, please message us at queerthepath.com for any community collaboration or tabling requests.Â
Â
Â
Are your events free? If not, how do I get a scholarship to attend?Â
We do our best to offer 65% of our events for free or at a low cost for our members to attend. If an event is a fundraiser, we usually will not sponsor as our intent is to raise money at that event. To receive a scholarship, you can select that option at the time of registration. Scholarships are by a first come first served and case by case basis.Â
